Despite winning the League and the Champions' League final Ferguson went into bringing in new players. Young, 25, passed a medical at the club's Carrington Training Ground and put pen to paper on a four-year contract, he now joins Phil Jones who moved from Blackburn to Manchester United in a £16.5 million transfer. Deal has also been agreed from goalkeeper David De Gea to move from Atletico Madrid to Manchester United for £18.5million.
